A Different Tao

Jeet kune do means “the way of the intercepting fist” and is the name Bruce Lee gave to the martial art he created, borrowing movements from kung fu, taekwondo and boxing. Tao of Jeet Kune Do is the training manual and philosophical text that grew out of Lee’s teachings, which has, since its original publishing in the 1970s, remained the best-selling martial arts book on the market. Now, for the first time in 30 years, this foundational text has been updated. The expanded edition features new illustrations hand-drawn by the master himself, new translations of Lee’s original Chinese-language text and a foreword by daughter Shannon Lee, offering the best chance yet to get inside the head of the iconic martial artist.
