Take 400 mg of green-tea extract three times a day. An antioxidant substance present in green tea, epigallocatechin-3-gallate (ECGC), has been linked to a host of benefits. It may help reduce cholesterol, improve mental focus and aid in weight loss. Most recently, it was found to kill prostate cancer cells, according to a clinical trial published in Cancer Prevention Research.
