Even if you’re not looking to make love like an Olympic gymnast, yoga can increase your between-the-sheets joy. That’s the finding of a study published in the October 2010 issue of The Journal of Sexual Medicine. Researchers had 65 men age 24 to 60 complete the Male Sexual Quotient questionnaire before and after a 12-week yoga camp that involved practicing yoga an hour a day. After the camp, the subjects reported significant upticks in all categories surveyed — desire, intercourse satisfaction, performance, confidence, partner synchronization, erection, ejaculatory control and orgasm — leading the researchers to recommend yoga as a first resort against performance problems. Hard to argue with their logic — or the fact that simply seeing a fit woman in lululemon yoga pants revs our engines.
