How It Works: Forskolin breaks down fat, allowing it to be more readily pulled out of cells. Once the fat has left the cell, the body can burn it for energy. Forskolin also directly boosts testosterone levels. One study from the University of Kansas found that overweight men who took forskolin for 12 weeks lost considerably more body fat and had higher levels of testosterone than those taking a placebo.
Dose: 20 to 50 milligrams of forskolin, two to three times per day before meals
