The editors at MuscleMag are proud to announce that our publisher, Robert Kennedy, has been selected for the esteemed Lifetime Achievement Award, presented annually by former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The award will be officially presented during the Arnold Classic on Saturday, March 3 in Columbus, Ohio.

Now 73, Bob has led the MuscleMag team since 1974. His small publishing empire includes fitness titles Reps! and Oxygen, as well as Clean Eating, American Curves and a book division. Based just outside of Toronto, Canada, the company employs just over 100 people.

Bob got started in bodybuilding in college with his best friend Johnny Fitness, who currently serves as editor-in-chief of MuscleMag. Fascinated by muscular bodies and strength stunts of the men of the times, they brought their passion for bodybuilding and their backgrounds in art and design to the publishing world. After relocating to Canada, they launched their first issue that sold for just $1 and had 115 pages.

Bob is currently recovering from an illness and cannot attend the ceremonies, but is nonetheless deserving of this very special award. Please stop by the MuscleMag booth at the Arnold Expo to say hi to the RK Publishing team.
