Dexter Jackson Wins Australian Pro

While most of the world slept, "The Blade" Dexter Jackson was busy winning his fourth Aussie Pro title. Thanks to excellent conditioning, the title was his the second he stepped on stage during pre-judging. With a line-up that included four competitors from the previous week’s Arnold Classic, Dexter would have had to be really off to lose this one.

The real battle of the night was between Ben Pakulski and Toney Freeman. Both men showed up in virtually the same shape as they did at the ASC, but this time, Freeman was able to edge out Big Ben to take second place. It all came down to posing and Ben just wasn’t able to execute, leaving the judges no choice but to award him third place. Fourth place went to Ed Nunn who came in looking great and nailed all of his poses while Ivan Sadek and Michael Kefalianos placed 5th and 6th respectively.

If you’re wondering why Johnnie Jackson wasn’t at this year’s Australian Pro Grand Prix, it was because he was scratched from the line-up due to some passport issues. Had Johnnie been in the mix, the top three may have looked a little bit different, especially had he made some slight improvements since the Arnold. Over-all it was a great show for the Australian bodybuilding fans!
